Q. |
How
old must a child be before he or she can benefit from a
treatment? |
|
A.
|
Usually,
when a child passes into the adolescent stage is the right
time. Children 11 to 13 years of age may notice very oily
skin or new pimples where they've not been before.
|
|
Q. |
Where
do I check in for my appointment? |
|
A.
|
The
treatment room is designed to hold only the esthetician and
the client during any treatment. To preserve the privacy of
the client, we ask that you wait in the chairs provided in
the salon. The esthetician will come to greet you and escort
you to the treatment room at the time of you appointment.
|
|
Q. |
How
early should I arrive for my appointment? |
|
A.
|
Whether
this is your first time or 50th time, please arrive at the
time the esthetician has requested. Time has been built in
to allow for consultation prior to any treatment and after
as well for all clients.
|
|
Q. |
What
if I am running late? |
|
A.
|
Please
remember to call as soon as possible and let us know exactly
when you will be arriving. Your arrival time will determine
the length of your treatment and will end as scheduled. If
you feel you need to reschedule, please let us know
immediately.
|
|
Q. |
What
do I need to bring? |
|
A.
|
In
most cases, just you and the rest is taken care of. Should
you be scheduled for a bikini wax, we provide disposable
bikinis for you.
|
|
Q. |
Do
I undress or disrobe completely for a treatment? |
|
A.
|
A
wrap is provided for you and does just that (wraps around
the body and attaches just above the bust for women and
hangs to the knees). We ask that you remove your shirt and
bra or drop the straps off your shoulders prior to slipping
the wrap on. You may also decide to remove your slacks, as
you will be lying down.
|
|
Q. |
What
if I need something during a treatment, can I talk or ask
for a drink of water or even go to the restroom? |
|
A.
|
Yes,
yes, yes and we encourage you to speak up when there is a
need or any discomfort during a treatment.
|
|
Q. |
What
if I am not sure if I should receive a treatment that may
affect my high blood pressure, pregnancy, or any ailment I
may have? Should I consult my physician prior to
treatments? |
|
A
.
|
Your
esthetician needs to know about any conditions you may have
before starting any treatment. If you are in doubt,
please consult your physician before arranging your
appointment.
